You awaken in a dark room to find only an (text-style: "shudder") [unlit candle] propped against the steel door infront of you.
[[Take the Candle -> Get Candle ]]
[[Leave the Room -> Exit Cell]]
You acquire the candle! It hasn't been used for what must be years, you dust off the stem and glance around the room once again. Aluminum cabinets line the far wall, accompanied by a filthy mold-lined sink.
[[Examine the sink -> Sink]]
[[Walk to the cabinets -> Filing Cabinet]]
[[Exit the room -> Exit Cell alt]] Before you lies a darkened hallway, what appears to be a low red emergency light shimmers dimly in the corner. The small bastion of light in the distance illuminates a keypad below. The low hum of a central air conditioning unit fills the desolate hallway, but surely no one could reside here?
[[Walk towards keypad -> Stumble 2]]
[[Slowly creep towards the light -> Rattled]]
[[Return to the cell ->Good Morning]] A filthy medical sink sits broken against the wall.
A foul scent that you can only recognize as decomposition singes your nostrils as you approach the once sterile drain.
Various bio-hazards litter the sink. Hypodermic needles, tissues, and what appear to be freshly severed pieces of flesh fill the reservoir.
[[Return to the door -> Get Candle ]] The rusted aluminum cabinets sit anchored to the tile wall of the pitch black room, and they appear as if the slightest touch might bring them crashing down.
You are still unsure if you are alone.
[[Attempt to open the top drawer -> Crash]]
[[Attempt to open the bottom drawer -> Matches]]
[[Turn around -> Get Candle ]] Before you lies a darkened hallway, what appears to be a low red emergency light shimmers dimly in the corner. The small bastion of light in the distance illuminates a keypad below. The low hum of a central air conditioning unit fills the desolate hallway, but surely no one could reside here?
[[Walk towards keypad -> Stumble]]
[[Slowly creep towards the light -> Rattled]]
[[Return to the cell ->Good Morning]] Without a care, you briskly walk towards the keypad at the far end of the hallway.
In your hubris you brazenly kick aside a long metal pole.
The loud clanging of the shaft as it rolls across the tiled floor of the facility is immediately followed by a stomach turning gargle from the door to your right.
[[Open the door -> Death in Hall 1]]
[[Run towards the keypad -> Death in Hall 1]]
[[Run back towards the room you awoke in -> Death in Hall 1]]As you slowly creep towards the dim light at the far side of the hallway, you find yourself misplacing your foot in the dark.
Only to slam onto your back as your weight is flung from the cylindrical metal pole underneath your feet.
The loud clanging of the shaft as it rolls across the tiled floor of the facility is immediately followed by a stomach turning gargle from the door to your right.
Your skull has been considerably rattled from the impact against the floor, and as you come to your senses, you feel a great weight descend upon you.
[[Look upwards to find the source -> Death in Hall 2]] You tug at the top drawer of the cabinet to no avail. It is rusted shut and appears to be locked.
[[Attempt to open bottom drawer -> Matches]]
[[Tug once again -> Crash 2]]The bottom drawer glides open silently and with easy, seemingly not seeing much utilization in its past.
Underneath a small stack of folders lies a book of matches.
Perfect!
You acquired the matchbook.
[[Try the other drawer ->Crash 3]]
[[Exit the room -> Exit Cell With Light]] In your attempt to open it, the losely anchored cabinet is torn from the wall, (text-style: "shudder") [crashing to the ground] with the shrill echo of flimsy metal unfolding and bending.
It is accompanied by another loud crash. From the opposite side of the door.
A newly formed hole in the wall reveals a cavern just large enough for a fully grown adult to crouch through.
[[Stand your ground -> Torn to Shreds]]
[[Flee into the newly formed hole -> Caverns 1]]A large beast thrashes through the doorway, busting the flimsy metal from the hinges. It scans the room briefly before locking it's eyes on you.
It reeks of decay.
The beast bounds towards you and in a moment you have lost both arms.
As you slip into the embrace of death, the only thought that crosses your mind is, "Tough guys are overrated."
Ending 4 - Never Stare Down the Monster.As you scramble into the revolting crawlspace before you, something large bursts through the door behind you.
A creature that you cannot make out in the darkness is searching for whatever caused the noise.
The beast emits a high pitched screech, before taking a long breath of the air.
Smelling meat, the creature begins to scour the corners of the room. It is only a matter of time before it reaches your hiding place.
[[Toss the candle back into the room -> Torn to Shreds 2]]
[[Scurry deeper into the hole -> Caverns 2]]In your attempt to open a second drawer, the integrity of the cabinet is weakened and it is torn from the wall, crashing to the ground with the shrill echo of flimsy metal unfolding and bending.
It is accompanied by another loud crash. From the opposite side of the door.
A newly formed hole in the wall reveals a cavern just large enough for a fully grown adult to crouch through.
[[Stand your ground -> Torn to Shreds]]
[[Flee into the newly formed hole -> Caverns With Light 1]]Before you lies a darkened hallway, what appears to be a low red emergency light shimmers dimmly in the corner. [[Light the candle and further examine the halls. -> Examine the hallway]]

[[Toss the candle back into the room -> Torn to Shreds 2]]
[[Scurry deeper into the hole -> Caverns With Light 2]]An enormous creature comprised of what can only be flesh and shadow bounds towards the hallway, tearing the door from it's hinges with relative ease.
As you come face to face with the horrid creature you can only stand frozen in fear. The otherworldly nature of the beast lumbering towards you stuns your senses with an overwhelming sense of shock.
As you blink, its teeth enter your ribcage and shatter various bones.
As the light fades from your eyes the only thought you can muster is, "I wish I had looked for matches"
Ending 1 - One more thing you have in common with Barbie, no ribs!As your gaze is lifted you find it matched by a horrid creature that reeks of mold and death.
In your concussive state, you can only confused yourself further by wondering what you're seeing as it tears into your abdomen; feasting on you.
As you promptly lose consciousness, you are met only with the thought, "I should've crawled."
Ending 2 - Eaten like a Thanksgiving MealWithout a care, you briskly walk towards the keypad at the far end of the hallway.

It rebounds from the wall as it propels itself towards you, sinking its teeth into your neck.
As the light fades from your eyes the only thought you can muster is, "I wish I had taken that candle!"
Ending 3 - Regrets Abound
As you ignite the wick of the candle, it slowly awakens.
Down the hallway you can make out two doors on either side approaching the far end. In between the two, a large metal pole sits. A terrible accident waiting to happen!
[[Examine the door on the left -> Left Door]]
[[Examine the door on the right -> Right Door]]As you approach the door on the right side of the hallway, you are met with a deep growling from behind.
Something is inside of the room adjacent to this one.
It does not sound friendly.
Quietly entering the room, you see a bright piece of paper attached to a clipboard.
The top line reads "WEEKLY ELEVATOR PASSCODES"
[[Take the clipboard -> Clipboard]]
[[Exit the room -> Death in Hall 5]] As you approach the door on the left side of the hallway, you notice it is already (text-style: "blink") [slightly ajar.]
Peaking inside you find the silhouette of a hulking abomination, lurking over what appears to be a corpse.
The poor soul inside is long dead, and the beast looks to be finishing it's meal when it spots the light source from the crack.
As the large creature barrels towards the doorway your light only serves as an agent to your horror.
The beast appears to be made of only flesh, pulsating roughly as it's exposed veins throb in anticipation of another kill.
You step backwards only to fall victim to the pole you had spotted moments ago. As you open your eyes post-impact with the floor, you feel a hefty weight bearing down upon you.
[[Look upwards -> Death in Hall 4]] As your gaze is lifted you find it matched by the horrid creature that reeks of mold and death.
In your (text-style: "shudder") [concussive state], you can only confused yourself further by wondering what you're seeing as it tears into your abdomen; feasting on you.
As you promptly lose consciousness, you are met only with the thought, "I should've gone the other way."
Ending 2 - Eaten like a Thanksgiving MealAs the candlestick bound across the tile floor the creature quickly follows its path back towards you.
In doing so it rushes the cavern in the wall, grabbing your leg in its powerful jaws.
The beast thrashes your body around for a few moments before realizing you are already dead.
Upon realizing your plan had doomed you, your embarrassment and fear led to an instantaneous heart attack.
Ending 5 - Maybe It Hurt Less?As the beast discovers the hole within the wall, you are already out of its grasp.
The hulking mass of flesh is too large to squeeze into the cavern and after thrashing against the wall for a few moments, it seems to feel defeat; staring you down before skulking out of the room.
[[Continue down the dirt cavern -> Caverns 3]]
As the beast discovers the hole within the wall, you are already out of its grasp.
The hulking mass of flesh is too large to squeeze into the cavern and after thrashing against the wall for a few moments, it seems to feel defeat; staring you down before skulking out of the room.
[[Continue down the dirt cavern -> Caverns With Light 3]]The rugged dirt and stones jutting from the ground below scuffs your hands, and you are almost delighted as the terrain begins to change to a softer, muddy texture beneath.
As you breathe a sigh of relief you feel yourself sinking slightly, and as a reflex, drop the candle.
It is a long minute before an audible thud can be heard of the candle striking whatever surface may lie below. It is pitch dark in the tunnel, and you are now met with two unfortunate options.
[[Wait for help -> Starve]]
[[Attempt to stretch across the chasm below -> Nasty Fall]]
You resign into your own psyche, assuring yourself that you are safe from the beast here, and someone must be looking for you.
You make an executive decision to stay here and wait for help.
No one came.
Ending 6 - Should've Made Some FriendsAs you extend your spine to its full capacity, near breakage, you begin to inch yourself towards the edge of the chasm.
You make as large a swinging motion as possible in the close quarters, hoping to reach the other side of the hole.
As your hands swing across the gap, they are met with empty air, sending you plummeting to the bottom of the obscenely long chasm.
As you plummet, you ponder the meaning of life, wonder if you have accomplished enough, and become angered with yourself for such a foolish attempt to bridge the gap.
Ironically, the acceptance of your own mortality brings you enlightenment, and before you appears a spirit, ensuring your reincarnation as you collide with the pavement below, becoming little more than a stain.
Ending 7 - Golden Opportunity KnocksThe rugged dirt and stones jutting from the ground below scuffs your hands, and you are almost delighted as the terrain begins to change to a softer, muddy texture beneath.
As you breathe a sigh of relief you feel yourself sinking slightly, and scurry backwards.
Below you, illuminated by the candle, you see a pit. The bottom of this pit however, is not in view.
You wonder how deep the hole must go, as you were already far enough under the ground to be crawling through a cavern.
Your candle illuminates what you believe to be the other side of the chasm, barley visible.
[[Examine the hole closer -> Rope Ladder]]
[[Attempt to stretch out to see the other side -> Nasty Fall]]You acquire the Clipboard!
At the bottom of the list of codes, a smudged string of numbers is partially visible to you.
485-
The last number is (text-style: "blur") [impossible to make out.] Only a smear remains where a digit once was.
The unfriendly sounding creature has not noticed you presence, and you would be wise to watch your step as you creep throughout the halls.
[[Exit to the hallway -> Return To Hall With Light]]As you exit the room you find yourself thrown off balance and propelled into the air somewhat comically.
You land back onto the ground with a thud, concussing yourself in the process.
As your gaze is lifted you find it matched by a horrid creature that reeks of mold and death.
In your concussive state, you can only confused yourself further by wondering what you're seeing as it lunges towards your face.
As you promptly lose conciousness, you are met only with the thought, "I should've just taken the clipboard!"
Ending 8 - Face the FactsAs you exit the room, you make your way towards the keypad, eager to attempt the code and escape from this place.
Before you lies the keypad, awaiting input.
The small screen hums gently in the dark, producing a steady tone.
[[Enter the code -> Last choice]]Eureka!
At the edge of the chasm, a rope ladder is secured precariously to the side of the pit below.
The ladder does not appear to be very old, and is almost immaculate in appearance.
As you peer into the darkness, (text-style: "shudder") [a low, guttural growl echoes from below.]
The ladder disappears into the void below, and you are unable to see where the path in either direction leads.
[[Descend the ladder -> Into The Pit]]
[[Pull the ladder back up -> Retrieval2]] As you descend the ladder, the unsettling growls from below slowly become louder.
They echo throughout the vertical tunnel as you approach the unknown auditor.
As you begin to make out the bottom rungs of the ladder, a wave of heat washes over your body, from the bottom upwards.
Confused, you glance downwards.
What you are met with baffles you for a moment.
What appears to be a massive tongue is directly underfoot.
As the ladder shifts, you feel a sinking within your gut.
You scurry towards the top of the ladder only to slip and fall backwards, landing on the moist monster.
Your last bastion of light is smothered in an instant, and you find yourself trapped within the beast.
Ending 9 - Just Like PinocchioAfter what feels like an eternity you find yourself with the full rope ladder in hand.
Unsure why you have even retrieved it, rather than descend upon it, you are struck with genius.
Across the way you are met with darkness, but there is definitely another side to this hole.
A large gust of warm air, accompanied by a foul scent wafts from below, and you are instantly grateful for your decision.
[[Toss the candle across -> Visible Anchor]]
[[Toss the ladder across -> Nasty Fall 2]] Genius! And Lucky!
The candle plops into the muddy surface across the way, sticking straight up into the air.
The small illumination reveals to you a hiking anchor across the chasm.
the rungs of the ladder can catch the anchor if you throw it properly, allowing you safe passage across.
[[Toss the ladder ->Anchored]]You toss the ladder as gracefully as you can manage, making as large a swinging motion as possible in the close quarters, hoping to reach the other side of the hole.
As your hands swing across the gap, they are met with empty air, sending you plummeting to the bottom of the obscenely long chasm.
As you plummet, you ponder the meaning of life, wonder if you have accomplished enough, and become angered with yourself for such a foolish attempt to bridge the gap.
Ironically, the acceptance of your own mortality brings you enlightenment, and before you appears a spirit, ensuring your reincarnation as you collide with the moisture below, becoming little more than a stain.
Ending 7 - Golden Opportunity KnocksYour luck stays, for now.
The ladder holds snug on the anchor across the way.
[[Cross Chasm ->Other Side]]
Upon reaching the far side of the chasm you are met with the horrible realization that you have not crossed a chasm, nor have you anchored yourself to a conveniently placed anchor.
The chasm below had, infact, been the maw of a beast, and your ladder had been anchored on what appeared to be a stray tooth.
Retrieving the candle, and attempting to swallow the thought of your fate had you descended, you press on.
[[Press on -> Press On]]You crouch through the caverns for as long as you can muster the energy.
You are nearing exhaustion.
[[Press On -> Press On 2]]
[[Stop for rest -> Respite]]You continue along the path, worrying for your candle's short lifespan.
You continue until you find yourself in the darkness.
Exhaustion has taken its hold.
You are left with few options.
[[Press On -> Hall Opens Up]]
[[Wait for help -> Starve]] As you stop to catch your breath, you slump against the wall of the small cave.
You find yourself looking to where the sky should be with answers. Wondering why you were even here.
Your question is met with an answer, though not one that you asked for.
Above, where your gaze has fallen, you see the metallic gleam of what looks to be a handle.
Your light source is dimming quickly, as the candle wax runs onto the cavern floor.
[[Press On -> Press On 2]]
[[Reach for the hatch -> Escape]]As you reach for the hatch you realize that tugging on it may lead to a cave in, and are struck with the fear of being buried alive with whatever the creatures you have encountered may be.
You are swallowed by fear for a moment, before realizing the hatch opens outwards.
[[Turn the handle -> Freedom?]]You resign into your own psyche, assuring yourself that you are safe from the beast here, and someone must be looking for you.
You make an executive decision to stay here and wait for help.
(text-style: "blur")[
. . .
No one came.
Ending 6 - Should've Made Some Friends]As you open the heavy iron hatch outwards, you are met with daylight.
As you pull yourself onto the grassy surface above, you close the heavy hatch behind you. Sealing the creatures away.
As you break down into tears, you slowly regain composure, happy to be alive.
You gaze towards the sky. Sunlight has never felt so warm. You are taken aback by the warmth as you quickly feel your blood begin to boil.
The air is noticeably stale.
Nature is silent.
The wind is still.
The light of the sun begins to dim.
In your periphery you see what you believe to be cameras mounted to the sky.
[[Scramble to your feet -> That Sinking Feeling]]A large glass observation window sits before you, somewhat in the sky.
Above it reads "NATURAL TESTING CHAMBER #4"
Something barrels down upon you from behind and in a brief moment of clarity before losing consciousness you can only think "There was never a way out."
Ending 11 - Peace Was Never An OptionAs quietly as you can manage, you enter the three digits you are aware of.
4
8
5
You are met with the option to now try whatever number you wish.
[[Enter 0 -> Wrong Key]]
[[Enter 1 -> Wrong Key]]
[[Enter 2 -> Wrong Key]]
[[Enter 3 -> Wrong Key]]
[[Enter 4 -> Wrong Key]]
[[Enter 5 -> Wrong Key]]
[[Enter 6 -> Wrong Key]]
[[Enter 7 -> Wrong Key]]
[[Enter 8 -> Ding Ding Ding!]]
[[Enter 9 -> Wrong Key]]As you select your digit, the keypad screeches in retaliation.
Clearly you have picked the wrong number.
The door behind you is ripped from its hinges as the beast hidden inside thrashes against the tight hallway, barreling directly towards you.
You are met only with the realization that you should've attempted to discern the code before attempting to open the door, as the monster envelopes you.
Ending 3 - Regrets AboundSuccess! What Luck!
As the door slowly slides open you are met with the sight of an empty vertical shaft.
Below, (text-style: "blink") [sparks emanate] from the crushed carriage of an elevator.
Above, the cord that once held the metal box leads to an array of closed doors, with a singular one at the top slowly opening and closing on a loop.
[[Ascend the shaft -> You could never leave]]
[[Descend the shaft -> Plummet]]You ascend the shaft slowly, realizing how comical the sentence sounds in your head.
As you pull yourself onto the landing of the oscillating door, you find yourself in a now better lit portion of the facility.
To your left, glass windows shielding what looks like a doctor's office receptionist's desk.
To your right, a room blocked by frosted glass.
Two silhouettes saunter back and forth behind the snowy backdrop.
Infront of you, double doors, not unlike what you would find in a hospital hallway.
[[Continue Straight -> Down The Long Haul]]
[[Inspect The Open Side Of The Desk -> Get Keycard]]
[[Approach The Frosted Glass -> Silent But Deadly]]As you begin to slowly shimmy down the metal twine, your own sweat loosens your grip, (text-style: "blur") [sending you plummeting towards the out-of-order elevator.]
As you collide with the metal below you are unfortunately not killed by the impact.
Instead you are repeatedly electrocuted as the cable you had previously noted sparks intermittently.
You fade out of consciousness after a few shocks.
Ending 12 - A shocking revelation.
A few hundred feet away, the caverns open up into what appears to be an old mining shaft.
Various pieces of equipment litter the once prosperous floors of the mining shaft.
Latticed supports decorate the ceiling in every direction, rusted and collpasing.
[[Continue Down The Hall -> The Echos]]
A low doorway sits in the distance under the humming of a bright bulb, the glare makes it impossible for you to see what lies beyond the threshold without getting closer.
The echos of creatures ring out from beyond the door, as well as from behind you.
[[Proceed -> Holding Pens]]
You enter the room at the end of the shaft and find yourself in a well lit room. Below you lie what appear to be jail cells.
On either side of the percarious path you walk, low moans and growls echo upwards, threatening your balance with each step you take.
At end of the pathway lies another door like the one you entered through, leading to another mine shaft.
[[Inspect The Holding Cells -> Death in the Pens]]
[[Continue to the shaft -> Exit]]
As you reach over the railing, something frigid and slimy coils around your neck, yanking you into the darkened cell below.
As your spinal cord (text-style: "blink") [snaps] and you fall unconcious, you can only wonder :
"Why we're these even in here!?"
Ending 14 - Release The Kraken
At the end of the pathway you duck through the low hanging entryway.
Infront of you, a heavy steel door, like what would be found on a submarine.
Your heart sinks as you wonder if you are far from the surface, deep underwater rather than underground.
You are left with no options.
You try, or you die to what has been following you.
[[Turn the large handle -> Outside At Last]]
At last, the door leads to the outside world.
Your fear of being trapped beneath the surface melts away as you feel the intense heat of the sun against your skin.
Before you lies only an open field, with no signs of anything awry.
As you turn to search for the door you left through, you find no signs of anything amiss.
As you pick a direction in which to begin your treck to civilation, you feel the exhaustion of your panic begin to set in, relief killing your adrenaline rush.
As you fall to your knees in the field you feel yourself slipping into a much deserved rest.
[[Awaken ->Good Morning]]
Through the double doors you find yourself in an old hospital.
The painted on logo above the doors you just exited through reads
" K A R A M A R I H O S P I T A L"
The name is unfamiliar to you.
As you walk further down the hallway, you find yourself at another set of double doors.
Behind you, a low growl.
[[Continue Through the Double Doors -> Down The Long Haul 2]]
As you rummage through the scattered papers on the desk as quietly as you can, a keycard slides from between the stacks and lands at your feet.
You accquired the Keycard.
You pocket the item, after the code you already had to enter, you may need it later.
[[ Exit Through the Double Doors -> Keycard Long Haul]]
As you approach the frosted glass, the silhouettes halt their movement.
The murmurs that could be heard a moment ago have gone silent, leaving the air cold.
On the other side of the door, two people wait to hear movment.
[[Stay Still -> Close Call]]
[[Make a Break For The Doors -> Struck Down In His Youth]]
The two shadows on the other side of the door continue to listen
.
.
.
.
.
They begin pacing once again and murmuring to each other.
[[Examine The Receptionist's Desk -> Get Keycard]]
[[Head for the Hallway -> Down The Long Haul]]
As you attempt to flee the door is flung open behind you.
Someone is not happy you are there.
You feel the sting of something enter your back, and collapse onto the tiled floor below.
The cold envelopes you, and before long you are unconcious.
[[Awaken ->Good Morning]] Through the double doors you find yourself in an old hospital.
The painted on logo above the doors you just exited through reads

As you feel your panic set in, you throw your weight against the door only to realize it is locked.
On the wall next to the door, a place to swipe for a keycard.
In a last ditch effort you turn around.
You are met with your death.
On her torn gown, her name -
(text-style: "expand") [L I S A ]

On the wall next to the door, a place to swipe for a keycard.
You fumble in your pocket for the card and swipe it.
The doors unlock and as you pass the threshold you turn around to hold the doors closed.
The hallway that you just came from now appears even more decrepit and old, slowly morphing from the dimly lit hallway into a rotten, moldy tunnel.
The hallway before you now opens up, three labs appear infront of you, each sealed with a keycard slider.
[[Enter the room on the left -> Lab 1]]
[[Enter the middle room -> Lab 2]]
[[Enter the right room -> Lab 3 Locked]]
As you slide you keycard the light chages from red to green and the tumbler locking the door slides open.
Inside, a well kept room filled with coolant systems and vials sits before you.
The walls are lined with coolant pipes, and the room feels as though it could freeze you solid without much effort.
Frozen solid against the base of a microscope, a keycard sits.
You acquired a Level 2 Keycard
[[Exit the Lab -> Threeway Hall]]You swipe your keycard and the door to the lab does not budge.
A slight push against the door reveals that it is already open.
Inside, a sickly warm environment, that feels as if you have just entered the tropics.
From the ceiling,(text-style: "upsidedown") [vines sway back and forth ] slighty as the air pressure changes in the room.
A chittering can be heard echoing softly from the vines, and you think it best to reseal the door and leave things be.

The door does not open.
A resounding error noise echos in the small area.
A C C E S S D E N I E D
[[Back away -> Threeway Hall 2]]
As you swipe your newly found keycard against the magnetic strip of the lock, you feel the pressure in the room change.
As the Lab 3 door opens, you feel the creeping chill from the room seep into your skeleton.
The room is silent, save for the hum of electronic monitoring equipment inside.
[[Enter Lab 3 -> Lab 3 Inside]]You find yourself again met with three doors
